You can apply online for SSPY pension schemes in Uttar Pradesh. Below, I’m sharing the exact steps I followed to apply for the Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Disability Pension, and Leprosy Pension schemes.

Old Age Pension Eligibility Criteria

Old Age Pension UP gives financial support to elderly people over 60 years old who are poor. Below are the complete details on how to apply for the Old Age Pension scheme and its eligibility criteria.

How to Apply for Old Age Pension Online वृद्धावस्था पेंशन

Step 1: First, visit the official website of SSPY UP at SSPY UP gov in.

Step 2: Click on the “Old Age Pension” option on the homepage to start the online application process. 

Step 3: A new page will open, which shows all the necessary details about the online application process for the old age pension, eligibility, and applicant login. You can also check the SSPY UP status online on this page.

Step 4: Click ‘Apply Online’ to fill out the application form for the Old Age Pension

Step 5: Fill in your personal details, including your district, resident type (urban/rural), tehsil, name (as per Aadhaar), gender, date of birth, father/husband’s name, category (e.g., General, OBC, SC, ST), mobile number (for future communication), and complete address.

Step 6: Next, upload your bank details and income information, including the Name of Bank, Branch, Account No., Confirm Account No., and IFSC Code. If different, contact your District Social Welfare Officer.

Step 7: Then, enter the Income Certificate Application Number and Income Certificate Number issued by the Tehsildar

Step 7: Upload a passport-size color photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format (max. size: 20 KB). Then, upload your Date of Birth or Age certificate in .pdf format (max. size: 200 KB)

Step 7: Now, check the ‘Declaration’ box, enter the captcha, and click the ‘Submit’ button to complete your online Old Age Pension application.

Destitute Women Pension Eligibility Criteria निराश्रित महिला पेंशन

Destitute Pension UP helps women who are in severe poverty and have no support. Follow these steps to apply for the Destitute Pension and check the eligibility requirements.

 Online apply process for the Destitute Women Pension

Step 1: First, open the official website.

Step 2: Once the website loads, click on “Destitute Women Pension” from the side menu.

Step 3: A new page will open where you can see the options: Apply Online for Destitute Pension, Applicant Login, and Eligibility Criteria.

Step 4: Click on “Apply Online.” This will open the application form for the Destitute Women Pension

Step 5: Enter your district, resident type, Tehsil, Aadhaar name, gender, birth date, husband’s name, category, mobile number, and address.

Step 6: Now, enter your bank name, branch, account number (and confirm), and IFSC code. Contact the District Social Welfare Officer if the IFSC code is different.

Step 7: Enter the Income Certificate Application Number and the Income Certificate Number issued by the Tehsildar

Step 8: Next, Upload your passport-size photo (max 20 KB, .jpg or .jpeg), Date of Birth/Age certificate (max 200 KB, .pdf), and Husband’s Death Certificate (max 200 KB, .pdf).

Step 9: Check the ‘Declaration’ box, confirm the information, enter the captcha, and click ‘Submit’ to apply for the destitute women pension.

Disability and Leprosy Pension Eligibility Criteria विकलांगता एवं कुष्ठ पेंशन

The Divyang and Leprosy Pension Schemes offer monthly support of ₹500 to disabled persons and ₹2,500 to leprosy-affected individuals under SSPY UP.

 How to apply online for the Disability and Leprosy Pension Scheme

Open the official website of the Integrated Social Pension Portal.
On the homepage, click on “Disability and Leprosy Pension”.

A new page will open. Click on the “Apply Online” option.

The Divyang/Leprosy Pension form will appear. Fill in your personal details, including name, parent’s name, date of birth, mobile number, district, resident type, Tehsil, gender, category (such as General, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS), and address.

In the next section, enter your bank details, including the bank name, branch, account number (and confirm it), and IFSC code. Contact the District Social Welfare Officer if the IFSC code differs.

Next, Enter your disability details like the type and percentage, certificate number, issue date, and whether you have a UDID card.

Next, upload your required documents for the Disability Pension: a passport-size photo (.jpg/.jpeg, max 20 KB), Date of Birth certificate (.pdf, max 200 KB), and Disability Certificate (.pdf, max 200 KB).

Then Read the declaration carefully and click on the “Submit” button.
